Victor starting serving clients as independent financial advisor over 25 years ago as a way to combat the biased, product-focused advice he saw community members receive from larger brokerages and commission-based advisors. Whether the clients were aware or not, Victor felt they were getting advice laden with hidden agendas and clear conflicts of interest. Instead, he wanted to create an environment that focused on planning as a “process” with his client's goals and dreams at the center - not of a suite of products or short-term services.
Victor is held to a high level of ethics and fiduciary standards thanks to his certification as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. Since completing the rigorous coursework and exams needed to earn his designation, he has taken an oath to act only in his clients’ best interest. In addition, he has received formal training in Retirement Distribution Planning from Ed Slott & Company, one of America’s foremost experts on IRAs and retirement plans. Before entering the financial planning field, Victor earned his bachelor of science degree in business administration from Regis University.
A Denver native and Arvada resident since 1982, Victor is happily married with four wonderful children. He enjoys staying actively involved in his family and community, spending time hiking and skiing in Colorado’s magnificent mountains, and playing tennis. When he's not in the office, you may also find Victor playing guitar, being a gourmet chef, and enjoying fine wine with friends and family.
